Legacy Reviewer's Review of Maxpedition Individual First Aid Pouch 0329
This pouch fits the bill perfectly for a daily carry first aid kit. When opened flat, it slides easily into the back pocket of my laptop bag. While it's not very thick, you can get a good bit of stuff in there. I've added a piece of paracord through the spine (middle) of the bag to hold my shears, tape, and a mini Sharpie. Top compartment holds small band aids, meds, prep pads, ect. The mesh (bottom) compartment holds my gauze pads, roller gauze, and other more bulky supplies. Gloves are in the outside pouch. When zipped up it fits neatly into my hiking daypack, allowing it to do double duty.
If you are looking for a trauma/blowout pouch, you may want to look at something a bit larger or at least thicker. A 6" Israeli Bandage uses up most of the space in the larger compartment. The top compartment is fairly shallow as well, so keep that in mind.
Pros: Lightweight, opens totally flat
Cons: No MOLLE ties/straps included
