Janus extension pocket - Maxpedition Janus Extension Pocket 8001

I have found Maxpedition products to be tough, well thought out and extremely modular. I have a varied collection of their backpacks, sling packs, and Versipacks. After using them on a daily basis for years, I have never had a failure. The Janus Extension Pocket was better than I had expected. I assumed it would just slide over the existing should strap and provide faster access to the primary items of your choice. Well, it certainly provides faster access with an assortment of organizational options; however, it connects to the pack via a buckle at both ends providing several benefits. You can position the pocket exactly where you want it on your body and it does not move. Also, you gain additional shoulder strap length adjustment if you need it. Excellent product, highly recommended.
