Chassis for ruger m77 mkii - MDT LSS Gen2 Chassis System

This is the only chassis I could find for my Ruger M77. Overall it's pretty decent. I had to open up the tip of the forend a bit with a sanding drum to fit my barrel so that it wouldn't rub. I wish the forend was a bit more rigid, you can feel it spring a bit if you grab it and the barrel together and squeeze but do far it hasn't been a problem. In order to use a single shot magazine I had to mill the rear corners of the magazine down about .100" so that they would clear the action. You could mill the action but I decided that I wanted to leave it stock in case I ever decide to switch stocks in the future and just modify any mags I get for this setup. An m4 buffer/ stock and pistol grip went right on no problems and my Timney trigger fit the chassis with no modifications needed.
