Paladin's Review of MDT Single & Double Pull Ckye Pod Case
I am very much a fan of MDT products and have way more than my share. Not being loaded I have to purchase one or two items at a time so I purchased this Bipod case so I'd have it when I order my CKYE-POD Gen 3 Double Pull Bipod. To date I've been extremely happy with everything MDT. Until now. Is it a nice and well made case, yes. Is it worth $120.00 , heck no. It is probably worth around $50.00 but most definitely not $120.00 . You have maybe $10.00 worth of materials. So that's a heck of a lot of labor and profit on an item that would take an assembly line 10 minutes to assemble. I know this because my wife was a seamstress for many years and once they have the routine down they can do this stuff with their eyes closed and in their sleep. So, nice bag but it is NOT a $120.00 bag. Now to see if this will get posted or not. I know a lot of companies don't like to show the negative. It hurts sales. I think I'll do a YouTube review as well.
Pros:
- strong materials
- Strong seams
- Mostly well made
Cons:
- WAY OVERPRICED
- Rear straps are not able to be locked into position
- Just too busy for a Bipod case
- No solid place on back to use for attachment to a back pack
- Rear straps could come loose when hiking through the woods while hunting causing you to lose the Bipod
- Not $120.00 worth of materials and labor here
- Could never recommend this case at $120.00
