The telescope seems to be poorly made, the threads for the wedge are messed up, the tripod has a large central hump that prevents good mounting, and it doesn't self align like it is supposed to. When I contacted Meade they give me the runaround like they are hoping to burn up the 30 day waiting period for easy returns. I am very dissappointed in this expensive telescope.
