Mine failed the first day - Meade 20-60x60mm Spotting Scope - Angled, Waterproof w/ Tripod

I bought one from a source other than Optics Planet. It failed the first time that I used it. The backpack is better made than the spotting scope. I know that the scope is inexpensive, but it isn't worth buying at any price. Save your money for something better. I wasn't expecting Swarovski, but one day of service is a small thing to expect.
