This is a great telescope for beginners... and big enough that you aren't going to wish you upgraded 2 months later! The enjoyment of all the night sky has to offer is immediate... NO MORE INITIATION BY TRIAL AND ERROR. I cannot tell you how much I and all my friends and family enjoy the features and how we all with the commentary was even longer and more detailed! Congratulations to Meade for making star gazing easy and FAMILY FRIENDLY!
