I have a 16" f/8 Meade ACF on a AP 1100 with encoders and APCC. With Maxim DL, SKY X Pro, APCC Pro, its virtual ports, and pin point mapping, it requires more than 1000 pages of instruction. The LX 850 is dead nuts simple to setup using a WO 151 mm FPL 53 APO and a DSLR. IT SELF ALIGNS and AUTO-GUIDES!
