Nikon t mount - Meade T-Mounts for 35mm and Digital SLR Cameras

I needed four different items to make this work. First the T-adapter, T-mount, DSLR and then the telescope. Its critical to ensure you order the right mounts and adaptors. The T-Mount worked as described with my D90 Nikon, however it was difficult for the mount to couple with the T-adapter. No fault of anyone, but its not a 5 second process, don't rush it and carefully screw both "T"s together. Also I haven't quite figured to get a snug fit with all units while ensuring the camera is level. It is cantered about 10 degrees counterclockwise. I'm sure more practice and patience it will work fine. Once everything is in place and secure the system works ok, you will have to adjust the ISO rating up to accommodate for the decrease in light entering the camera.

If you thought this setup was going to be a perfect alternative to a long lens purchase, its not. If you want to shoot wildlife, just buy the appropriate lens. As far as lunar photographs, it look good and with a little practice on my part I should get good to great photos of the moon.
