Noreguard's Review of Mean Arms 9mm Ejectored EndoMag - 3 Pack

EndoMag 9mm PMAG 30 Magazine Conversion Adapter and a 9mm upper in the glock or colt format, can give you a low cost shooting option for your current AR. The mag conversion for your magpul 30 mag converts it form 556 to 9mm. When inserted in your ar-15 milspec lower it becomes a 9mm lower. These things work. This was the second "3pak" I have purchased and they are all seeing heavy use in 3-gun matches. The built in ejector requires a some awareness when you unload your firearm, and it is best to do slide lock mag changes, but mine have been very reliable. (Another tip is to only load 29 rounds). If you haven't shot a 9mm from a carbine you are in for a treat. They are surprisingly accurate and my red dot sight keeps me on target from 25- to 125, (aim a little high from 0-25 and from 125-200). All for about 1k less then buying an AR-9
Pros:
  • Cheaper ammo to shoot, reduced felt recoil
  • Easy to change calibers
  • Uses the lower you are used to
Cons:
  • The ejector is part of the mags and must stay in the gun to eject unfired rounds
  • Wish they would make one for 40 round mags!
  • Difficult to insert magazine if the bolt is closed
Best Used for:
  • USPSA PCC competion
  • 3-gun matches
  • Plinking, & target practice
