Mec-gar 1911 9mm 10 round pistol magazine - Mec-Gar 1911 9mm Luger 10 Round Pistol Magazine

I have been a Mec-Gar fan for years after discovering their superior build quality. I recently purchased a Kimber Rapide 9mm and the magazine supplied by the manufacturer works but they didn't put much effort into it. So I purchased several of these superior magazines (MGCGOV910AFC) from Optics Planet and as expected, they are really nice. Each magazine holds an additional round over the one supplied by Kimber and the Mec-Gar does not extend any further from the mag well (it's identical). The Mec-Gar mags also slide into the mag well easier without the slight hold up I found with the Kimber mag.

I have not had a chance to test them for functionality on the range yet but cycling some rounds manually had no issues.
