Mecgar .45 acp 10 rd for 1911 - Mec-Gar 1911 9mm 10 Rounds Pistol Magazine

These mags work well. I read about issues with them inserting too far into some pistols, but I’ve ran them in several full size 1911s and haven’t had any issues. I’d say those pistols must be out of spec because the same reviews stated the slide wouldn’t stay open on an empty mag. I haven’t had that issue either. There is a stop built into the into the back of the mag as a secondary measure to prevent them from inserting too far. I did have issue with one of the three allowing the follower to tilt forward. I won’t use them in self defense situations until I’ve put a few hundred rounds through them. They will be fine for the range.
