These replacement magazine floor plates fit my steel base MecGar P 226 Magazines perfectly. I used them to replace 15, 18 round mag floorplates and even on several Plus 2 mags without a spring change. All function properly. The edges are now rubber so easier on the hands and clothing when carrying the pistol. Takes only seconds to make the change. MecGar makes a good product that will last forever if properly cared for. Seem pricey until you consider it has the Floorplate and the spring baseplate, which makes it a very fair price. These do not fit a P229 magazine, that magazine is slightly wider it appears,
