Competes with the big names well, clear edge to edge - Meopta MeoPro HD 10x42mm Roof Prism Binocular

At a recent bird fair the Meopta Meopro HD 10x42 were well received and almost everyone was surprised they were measured up to the alpha glass that was being passed around. No CA, no SA, sharp edge to edge and great depth of field, the quick focus worked well once dialed in. I don't know if it was the particular model we sampled but it passed most of the tests we put them thru including low light at dusk. We were also impressed by the MeoPro 8x42 HDs, they did have slightly better low light performance but that was to be expected. We compared the MeoPro HD 10x42 with a pair of Zeiss Conquest, Vortex Razos, Vipers and Meostar 10x42s and most birders stated they could not see a big difference and agreed at this price range the MeoPros were best bang for the buck.
