James Meadows's Review of Meopta Optika LR 10x42mm Rangefinding Roof Prism Binocular
On a hunt in south Texas, encountered a situation these caused several missed shots due to inability to range. Short grass went to a longer grass at about 550 yards. Blackbuck (smaller than whitetail) were between 600-1200 yards. This device was unable to range most targets, and was off 200 or so yards on the ones it identified. It’s got good glass, but do NOT trust it for critical long range shooting.
Pros:
- good glass
Cons:
- Poor long range performance
Best Used for:
- 100-500 yard shooting
