BigA's Review of Meprolight AR15/M16 Post Front Sights
The Meprolight front post sight with very small tritium insert is fairly easy to install, need a 5 prong A2 front sight tool.
Once installed, the top post rotates independent of the stem, so the Tritium can actual rotate away from the front orientation to the shooter and then it is useless, you cannot see it. No way to lock it from rotating without gluing. I did glue it, they could have indexed it for 5 clicks instead of making it rotate 360 degrees, and that would solve the rotation issue.
Tritium could be bigger as well but does work as long as it does not rotate to the side as you move your firearm, then you no longer can see the Tritium insert, so why did you purchase?
