Meprolight tritium front sight for ar15/ m16 a1/a2 good buy for the money - Meprolight AR15/M16 Post Front Sights

The Meprolight ML31318FS Front Night Sight for the AR15, M16 A1/A2 is a great item for the money.

Exact replacement for factory sight post. It is easy to install and adjust once installed. To install you will need a 5 prong front sight tool to make it a lot simpler. Once installed the night sight section will adjust seperate from the lower half of the sight, as to align it so you can see the sight.

This sight does exactly what it is built for. At night, especially on overcast nights, you can see your front sight post as a small green dot.

My only con for this sight, I feel that they could have used a little larger dose of tritium so the sight would be a tad brighter. You can loose your sight picture, especially if there are background lights in the distance.

But overall, for the money, I am very satisfied with this item and would recommend it to anyone. I checked around several sights and Optics Planet was able to beat everyones prices.
Pros: Easy to install, easy to adjust, No fitting needed
Cons: Wouldn't hurt if it was a little brighter but that's just my opinion
