Reccommend but caution - Meprolight MMX4 4x24mm Micro Magnifier w/ Quick Flip, QD Picatinny

I gotta say, size and weight on par with all micro magnifiers, 4x is perfect. The box/ packaging is nice, has a black rubber cover and a tan rubber cover all the tools needed to adjust, extra plate to adjust height and longer screws. Diopter rear adjust nice and the glass is clear. Mount is flip to the side and has a solid feel with tension. Long term not sure but feels goood new. Only issue I have and was never a thought. If you look at the body of the magnifier the mount bolts directly into the center of the magnifier, which if running back up irons (Magpul pro) and Eotech exps series and don’t want your optic mounted onto part of the rail you don’t have enough space. When you try to flip into place it hits the body of the Eotech. I had to compromise against my better belief and move my optic 1 slot onto the rail, with 300 blk out I assume won’t have an accuracy issue based on range I plan on shooting. Always been taught a no no to mount that far forward and to keep optic on upper receiver. But for the price and the quality the magnifier is prettty sweet. Btw I couldn’t find adaptor plates or different mount to fix my issue. Maybe down the road and cantilever style mount will come out.
