Faded front sight - Meprolight Tru-Dot Tritium Night Sights for Colt Government Handguns

the front sight was not as bright as the rear sights, almost not bright at all. Still better than not having night signts but very disappointed with the brightness of the front sight. Needed a metal file to shave down the sides of the front and rear sight to get it to fit into the Rock Island Armory 1911 but was relatively easy to install ourselves.
Pros: great price for night sights
Cons: front sight was not bright at all
