Stick with factory made - Mesa Tactical Urbino Pistol Grip Stock for Tactical Shotguns

Cheaply made parts from inside stock. It is all plastic and does not secure the stock to my M930. They need metal on the inside, however it would greatly affect the weight of the stock. There is still a gap from the base of the stock where it makes contact to my M930 receiver and it still wiggles regardless how tightly I went. The inside of the stock feels it would break easily. There are metal inserts to hold the buffer tube in place. The Mesa Tactical Buffer tube would not fit into the metal inserts and I would have had to Dremel into the inserts in order for it to fit.

It's sad because I wanted this to really work on my M930, I love the overall look as it gives me Benelli M4 vibes. Assembling this stock made me appreciate the quality and simplicity of the Mossberg Pistol M5 furniture. The gun feels and looks better overall with Mossberg.

I "did not" need a gun smith to assemble the Mesa Tactical stock and it was relatively simple once I removed the Mossberg buffer tube that was glued onto the receiver.

I took off the Mesa Tactical stock and requested to return it immediately. This stock is not worth $169. I suggest to avoid the headache and stick with the good old factory furniture or go with magpul (magpul does not make furniture for the M930).
