Meta tactical carbine conversion - Meta Tactical Glock 17 Gen 3-4 Apex Carbine Conversion Kit

Initially saw the item on the internet. Found it on sale at OP. Given it had gotten very good reviews and I was in the market for a 9 mm carbine, I gave it a chance. Received item. Appeared to be of good quality. Given I had an additional G17, the conversion took minutes. Put an optic on it and headed to range. Functioned well while sighting red dot in. Had 2 light strikes on cheap Tula ammo. This may be due to the fact that my G17 has an aftermarket Apex trigger. Given the manufacturer recommends only Glock factory parts, I will replace trigger with original Glock oem and see how it goes. Only complaints are: 1) safety is not in best location. Not a deal breaker. 2) mag release is not easy and mags don’t drop free. I used standard G17 mags. I have a feeling that 33 round mags will alleviate this problem. 3) ordered the additional foregrip/ mag holder. When arrived, I found out that an additional picannany rail mount is necessary to mount the grip. Given the price, I think it should have been included.
