LEO's Review of MFT React Torch Mount and Vertical Grip

I purchased this product in black from Optics Planet. They had the best price by far. This is a good product at a fair price. I really like Mission First Tactical (MFT) products. The quality is high without a high price. I wanted a good quality grip rail light for my AR-Carbine but my budget does not allow for a $500 plus Surefire weapon light.I purchased this product and a Surefire G2X LE and I now have a high quality grip rail tactical light with 400 lumens for an investment of around $100.00.The G2X LE fits this grip perfectly. The grip will fit lights from .75 inch up to one inch in diameter and it includes two differnt size spacers for lights smaller than one inch in diameter. For one inch lights no spacer is needed. The lock out switch works like a cross bolt safety. It is a bit stiff but serves the intended purpose. The cut out on the right side of the grip allows the pressure pad for my laser to fit just right. The storage compartment allows you to carry two extra CR123A batteries with room to spare. The rubber stopper on the bottom of the grip fits securely. The grip is comfortable and the ergonomics are just about perfect. The grip fits securely to a standard picatinny rail using two flat head screws. The flashlight fits securely inside the grip using one flat head screw. The G2X LE light has a high/low setting and the switch on this grip allows you to use either setting with ease. The MFT website shows a foam insert with the grip. My grip did not include this insert so I have used a piece of egg crate foam to keep the spare batteries from rattling inside the grip. The package and website both indicate that a quick detach mount system is available, however I do not see this product available on The MFT website or anywhere else. This would be a very desirable feature and I would be willing to pay extra for this option. You can unscrew the Surefire G2X light from the grip without tools if you need to change the batteries so the two products are a perfect match.
