Brain's Review of Midwest Industries HK416/MR556 Handguard, M-LOK

This handguard functions as advertised but is not machined/engineered appropriately to match the 416 upper dimensions. Will seat all the way towards the back when mounting but will gap once fired to about half a cm allowing dust/dirt into the barrel nut/piston area.
Pros:
  • Still works as advertised
Cons:
  • Does not fit appropriately
  • Will allow dust/dirt into piston
Best Used for:
  • A show gun you do not shoot
