This tool is sturdy. So far I’ve used to torque down castle nut on lower receiver, with torque wrench. My initial purchase of this item was to use on barrel nut to install new barrel on a new upper receiver. If you’re installing a new barrel, I’d recommend using the Midwest URR to keep aligned, so your bcg lines up.
