I recently ran into a situation where the standard scope rings for a Bushnell scope would not fit my Ruger .22 rifle. I have never attempted to mount a scope on any of my rifles so I did not know that I was going to run into a problem. In the past I had always used a gunsmith. When I received the Bushnell scope the standard scope rings would not fit my Ruger .22 rifle because the scope base was special. The quality of the rings is excellent and they are extremely easy to install.
