Sean's Review of Mimtac Drastic AR-15 Drop-in Trigger
Listen... I've used geissele, tommy triggers, rise armament, the tac con, cmc, palmetto state, triggertech, etc. The list goes on. I'm a feind for triggers. Lots of great triggers out there. I've paid 100's and 100's of dollars. Some range from $80 to $220.This trigger is easily in my top 2 and I only paid $90. Remarkable value. The cmc comes close (I paid $90 for it as well on sale), but this one takes the cake because of the feel and the way it behaves. The break is like clicking a mouse button. It's instant. You have so much control. The cmc does this well, but not AS well as this (and I'm talking about very, very specific differences here). Triggertech is good too, but the reset it's strange due to the internal mechanism. So the reset isnt as fast. It feels wierd. This trigger feels extremely intuitive and natural. 0.5-1mm of a reset and then the break is instant. Its like they made the trigger operation match the natural mechanics of what your finger does when you're shooting fast. For example, when the trigger resets, it doesn't just reset when your finger releases and stay where your finger left it. It resets, then it actually goes rearward just a tad, and this allows your trigger finger to naturally pull back again like it's begging for contact with the trigger fave again to just effortlessly pull the trigger again and again as fast as you want. The pull weight is 3.5lbs but it doesn't feel like it at all because of how short the break is and how straight the trigger is. This trigger is absolutely amazing and deserves way more attention. Don't hesitate to buy especially if you have a coupon. I wish I could make everyone feel this. It definitely lives up to the hype.

Extremely crisp
Unique reset mechanic
Very very fast
