Mimtac ar-15 single stage valkyrie (drop in)trigger install and test - Mimtac Valkyrie AR-15 Drop-in Trigger

This was my first AR-15 drop in trigger install so I was being careful. I upgraded my factory milspec trigger on my Ruger AR-556 because it felt like about 9# or more and gritty. It only took about 30 minutes for the install so not bad for my first time. Performed a safety and function test making sure the safety switch worked properly and then out back to my range. Trigger performed flawlessly. Zero take up,crisp break and maybe a 1/8” or less reset. If you want to shoot fast this is a great trigger. Also much better feel than mil-spec that came with the rifle. I’m not a gunsmith but this is a fairly simple install and I wish I’d switched it sooner. Gonna order a 2stage for an upgrade on my AR-10 soon. I would definitely recommend upgrading from milspec trigger and this Mimtec seems to be a quality option at a reasonable price and minimal effort installation.
