Alan's Review of Mission First Tactical React Short Vertical Grip
I just bought this grip for my Diamondback, as a last piece of gear to trick my new AR out with. I'd also added a front & rear Yankee Hill buis along with my Aimpoint M4s to it.
I'm not sure that my review will add or detract from the product as I've just slid it on and have not used it. What I can elaborate on however is what I observe about the product itself, which seems well made. It was easy to throw on my quad rail and has that plug in the base in which you could throw in a battery or small tool.
I was also concerned about the length of it as I didn't want a vertical grip that was too long, but by the same token, one that was so short that my pinkie would be hanging in the breeze. I was pleasantly surprise to find that my hand could wrap around it fine with no problems. I don't have a gorilla hand, but I don't have a small hand either so....that was good to find out. The grip itself felt fine in my hand and seemed ergonomic. For the money, I feel it's a good buy, and I have never had a complaint about Optics Planet. They are good people to do business with and offer great selections, whatever you're looking for.
Would I buy one again? Too early to tell with snow covering my range, but based on what I've found in looking it over....I think I'd say "yes."
