Great looking optic right out of the box.
easy to mount and zero. The illuminated reticle does not work, but not worth the time, trouble, or expense to send back.
Mounted to a Ruger 10/22 Sporter synthetic. Zero in less than 10 shots. clear easy to adjust. Recommend for your young man first optic and rifle for that matter.
