Chris S's Review of Monstrum Alpha Series 6-24x50 Rifle Scope
So, I have been a huge fan of Monstrum products. They seem to pack features in scopes for less than other company’s. They have mastered the plinking market and they are quickly expanding their popularity. I was able to grab a 4-16 x 50 and let me tell you, I couldn’t be happier with this scope, unless it was a G3. I absolutely love the H reticle on these models and I will keep coming back as long as they remain similar.
Now down to brass tacks- The glass on this one is clear- I had to send one back. The adjustments on this one are acceptable- positive clicks- less mushy than previous Alphas I have used. And the FDE matches Magpul close enough for govt work.
All Monstrum scopes are heavy- not too much thought went into the tote ability of these scopes- but once you get the range or your stand, get set- Your going to happy with your results.
Last, but not least- FFP view on a scope that cost less than $500 is a rare item. It’s not for everybody, but for the shooters that like it- Monstrum offers a huge bargain.
I would give 5 stars but thats reserved for the G3-
