Only tried it on a carpeted floor, but I see it working in the field. A very light way of taking a seat along. As you set the poles, you have doubts. Then you lean back a start to believe. I will be using g this to stop and glass for game and routes through terrain.
Pros:
- quick access
- It works!
- Extremely light to carry
- Easy lift and carry
Cons:
- Still have to find a comfortable place for your behind. No padding.
Best Used for:
- ammo transport
- Resting and/or glassing or spotting.
