Wishful thinking... - MTC Optics Cobra F1 4-16x50 Rifle Scope

I bought this too replace the hawke vantage on my royale 500. First impressions were very good, reticle wasn't too busy but gave enough info for holdover. Eye relief leaves room for desire, but definitely not horrible. Upon initial un-boxing inspection i noticed the elevation turret zero to not be square with the scope. Further inspection I found the whole elevation turret to be crooked and not square to the scope. Normally wouldn't be an issue but the money spent on the scope and the fact that it needs to lock after changing elevation adjusts I decided to swap t out with another. The second scope had the same exact problems... Currently waiting on a third and final chance for a fully functional scope. I wouldn't recommend this scope with the defects i have been having. If they get resolved and the scopes function as intended i would possibly change my mind on recommending.
