Essential for range trips. I have always carried my ammo and mags in metal 50 cal ammo cans but the mags dont fit well in those and are not easily accessible and organized. With this case they are easy to put in, pull out, and keep organized spent and loaded mags. This can is longer, wider, and taller than metal 50 cal can and will not stack with them but it is great to have just one.
