I've got two other Muellers- a 4-16X50 Tactical mounted on a CZ-455 American and a 8.5-25X50 Eradicator on a Marlin Model 17V. This Mueller, and a 8.5-25x44AO Tactical Riflescope MT852544 which is mounted on a Marlin Model 882SS and is adaquate for the type of shooting that I'm doung with these rifles- "poppin rats and crows from 50 yards out to 100 yards. Light transmission with this scope is not as good as the 50mm's, but magnification is pretty good through the entire range, much better than the 4-16X50 and just as good as the 8.5-25X50.
Even though this is a centerfire scope on a rimfire rifle, I perfer them over rimfire scopes for performance. Also I perfer scopes with 50MM objectives, but with this 44MM scope being under $200, it is by far much better in quality and performance than any of the currently produced scopes in it's price range that I've come across to date- it's by far better scope than ANY Barska, Tasco, BSA, and most of the Simmons and Bushenell with simular features. Even though I'm more prone to spend $200 - $300 for a little more scope, if I need a scope for under $200, I'll purchase this scope again.
Pros: Good overall quality
Cons: None
