Not bright enough for use outdoors in bright sunshine. This is the black picatinny style. The Camo model is weaver base , probably a different manufacturer. This is just speculation. I had to modify the unit to fit on weaver base. If I had known , the Camo model would have fit ok. The reticle choices worked well. Auto brightness worked somewhat. All in all unit was OK.
Pros:
- Very good in anything less than bright conditions.
Cons:
- Black model not weaver base compatible.
Best Used for:
- I used it on S&W 22 auto pistol.
