Manufacturing is done in India according to the import stickers. Very High-quality polished steel bluing on metal parts. Wood appears to be teak if not its very similar. I purchased this repro for an Inland Manufacturing M37 Trench Shotgun I had had had for some time. The fit and finish is very nice, and it fits the M37 perfectly. However, the tab Latch on the button does not close deep enough to secure the bayonet to the weapon. It appears that a replacement button or adding a little metal to the inside of the hook will solve the issue. I know it is a shame to pay $100 for the blade for it not to fit, but the availability of new or surplus bayonets is like finding Hens Teeth. So, for those of you interested in purchasing this nice item, be forewarned. Otherwise, it is a beautiful reproduction.
