Used for an 18 mile hike. Exterior is water proof. Only issue is the backside which vents really well isn't. Hiked through a rain storm and only my own sweat got into it. Great travel bag for lugging computers through an airport though! Fits 15.4" computers, any larger won't fit in the internal pockets. Love the zipper design and small pockets are great for snack or cord management. Mystery Ranch Quality!
