Big mistake - NcStar Cartridge Red Laser Bore Sighter Set / .223, .308., 30-06, 7mm

I was hoping to get on paper with a 223 and 308 with new scopes. The 223 would not work at all to start.New batteries from Radio Shack still no good.Thread the back on, laser on, drop the unit in the chamber and laser goes off. Slide in very slow and easy and the laser would not clear the hole at the muzzle end.Roll the laser gently. You can not believe how bad the alignment is.I put the laser in a go-no go gauge and put it the lathe to see how bad it was.One inch off at 36 inches. All this with the on off stuff going on.
The 308 was not much better, it would stay on but the laser light would not exit the barrel. Worthless!
I put this collection, all fifty bucks worth, in a pile to give somebody as a joke.
