Doesn't work for everything - NcSTAR Scope Mount - US. Force AR15 / M16 Mount MAR6

I have a couple of these and for my cheaper Chinese reflex sight's and cheap scope rings they mount fine. The problem is...if you enlarge the picture of the NCStar mount you can see the slots are very shallow because the ridges are not very tall. They are actually more like nubs. I wanted to mount my Burris FastFire III on my carry handle. It wouldn't work with this mount because the crossbolt is much thicker than the crossbolts in the cheaper Chinese stuff I place on this mount. The cross bolt on my Burris FastFire III is actually taller in diameter than the slots are deep on the NcStar mount. Most Chinese made items have such thin crossbolts it is not an issue and will work fine as the NCStar mount itself is a decent mount for items with thin crossbolts.
