I use the scabbard to cover my patrol shotgun. I have a side saddle and a side mounted light on my Remington 870. I ended up tearing the zipper off to have enough room for the width of my shotgun with attachements. The concept is good for a simple shotgun with no attachements and that’s about it. It works but not what I expected, at least it has a buckle and a button strap so my shotgun doesn’t fall out and it’s a super tight fit now.
Pros:
- great design
- Great material
Cons:
- Not for shotguns with attachements
- works but not as expected
Best Used for:
- Shotguns with no attachments that add width to the shotgun
