Resolution is excellent for a first generation night vision technology. Quick and easy to focus by turning the objective/front lens. Infrared illuminator is very powerful and allows for viewing of very distant objects/subjects in total darkness. Value for money considering its 5 times magnification coupled with a powerful infrared illuminator. Similarly specification night vision device cost significantly more. Printing on the box says it uses two AA batteries. This is not true. This model requires a single CR123 3V Lithium battery.
Pros: Excellent resolution. Quick and easy to focus. Turns night into day. Powerful Infrared illuminator for viewing in total darkness.
Cons: It's a bit bulky at almost 8 inches but that's expected of first generation night vision technology. The smallest I heard of was just under 6 inches in length.
