These are excellent for the price. Granted they are not gen3, but in my opinion, are close. I bought a second one and mounted them on a ModArmoury dual PVS14 mount. For a smidge under 2500 bucks, I have the equivalent of a PVS15 system. The only issue with these is several dark spots are visible on both units. This is common for NVG, but less visible on higher end gen3. Overall, very pleased with my purchase.
