This scope is amazing. Without the use of an IR illuminator you can make out the details of specific leaves on trees that are over 75 yards out. Could identify a target even further out, in low light conditions. With an IR illuminator, I haven't been able to find a distance that I can't use the scope to identify what I'm looking at. Only one small issue that happened with mine. After I zeroed it in (which was very easy, and accurate), at my second trip to the range the unit began to lose power after a few shots, and would then re-power back up. I contacted Night Optics and they said that it was a wiring issue with the power supply. Since the device was new, and under warranty, they fixed it free of charge. This no longer happens, and based on the service I am confident that it is not typical, and won't be happening on my unit again. These units get fantastic reviews all over the web.
