I’ve gone through 8-10 different NVG scopes and goggles, and no Gen 1 (or even gen 2 tubes) is bright without using IR or having a light source (street lights or the moon). When the moon is full or there is ANY street lights, this thing is too bright. If you need something that works with half moon to just stars and don’t want to rely on IR illuminator AND don’t want to break the bank, this is for you. For its price point, this thing rocks.
