Nightforce nxs 5.5 - 22x56 rifle scope - NightForce NXS 5-22x56mm Zero Stop Rifle Scope, 30mm Tube, Second Focal Plane (SFP)

I recently took up sport shooting after having not fired a rifle in 40 years. Iron sights are out of the question with my eyes, so I decided to go with optics. I investigated the Nightforce NXS riflescopes and was impressed with all the reviews I read. After purchase, I can attest that the reviews are spot on. I am fortunate that my gun club has a 400 yd range, which is the distance I prefer to shoot. The 22 magnification allows me to zero in on targets smaller than an aluminum pop can at that distance; only problem then is remaining steady. I will be purchasing another Nightforce NXS riflscope for another of my rifles in May. If you're willing to spend the money, I think Nightforce is the way to go.
