The optic itself is fantastic. Really enjoy using it on my Q Sugar Weasel. I feel it is a great option for shooting at distances that firearm is capable to.
The only negative I will give the NX8 1-8 is the reticle center dot size. The 1.25MOA center dot is too large for shooting at greater distances. This seems to be a tradeoff allowing the 'dot' to be very bright and extremely useful at lower magnifications and shorter distances.
I knew this from other reviews going into the purchase, and after having used it I am happy. I would not recommend this scope for shooting at long range, but on a 7" 300blk? Oh yea she bad.
The optical clarity, compactness of the scope, and all the other features make this a great package.
This was my first purchase from Optics Planet. I paid over $100 for expedited shipping in the hopes that I would get the scope before a hunting trip. That didn't happen. Optics planet refunded my shipping fee fully without question. Thanks! I feel great about future purchases from Optics Planet.
