Nx8 2.5-20mm - good performance and value - NightForce ail Accessory Platform Improved RAP-I W/Multimount Cap

The NX8 2.5-20mm has been performing well overall. There's a slight amount of purple fringing, but it's not too problematic. When comparing it to the ATACR 4-16x42mm, I don't think the ATACR justifies the extra $500, unless eliminating the purple fringing is a top priority, and even then, it may not completely resolve the issue. The eyebox on the NX8 is adequate; with a good cheek weld, you’ll have no issues, even at 20mm. For an additional $500, I would expect a significantly better eyebox on the ATACR, but it's not, making the NX8 a better value for the money. In my opinion, a proper cheek weld should suffice.
