This spotting scope is truly amazing. The glass is crystal clear, the view is sharp as a tack (there is just a hint of distortion at maximum magnification, but it's still amazing!). This thing is built like a tank and the fit and finish are excellent too. The only thing that I have a "minor" issue with is its eye relief. The ER was smaller than I anticipated. However! It is much better than any other spotting scope I've used. Regardless, I have no regrets after purchasing this SS. Side-by-side comparisons with Vortex, Leupold, and other brands this SS holds its own and for the price-point, it is hard to beat. Yes, it's expensive but worth it! This is something that will last a lifetime if cared for and be passed down to younger generations.
