High quality one-piece mount - NightForce ULTRALITE Remington 700 20MOA Direct Mounts

This is a very high-quality mounting system for the Remington 700. Typical Nightforce machining and finish. I torqued down the front two action screws, and the rear of the mount was just barely hovering over the back half of the action, so I bedded the mount with Devcon.

This isn't a big deal, as I was expecting it - it's my opinion that all one-piece mounts or bases should be bedded on a Remington 700, which are notorious for being slightly out of spec. I certainly fault Remington and not Nightforce here.

I mounted a scope w/ a 42mm Objective and there was ample clearance - I would use this "low" model for anything up to, and including 50mm.
Pros: Great Finish, Lightweight, Stong, Recoil Lug
Cons: Required Bedding, Could be lower
