Perfect for carbines - NightStar 1-6x24 IRF First Focal Plane Rifle Scope

I took a while to write this review to really test every area of this optic and to say the least it's a beast. The only deal breaker is that from the box the illuminated reticle is completely blurry at night and I got this specific for night time applications. It looks like overspray around the whole field of view and even on the lowest brightness it still is hard to see through all the illuminated dots scattered around. I hope it was just a bad batch, but if you don't mind not being able to use the illumination at night then it's a pretty solid scope. Its held zero and been in the rain a lot. Quick acquisition and easy to use and maintain. But I will be parting soon with it as I need a clear night time field of view
